Students are encouraged to use computers in all areas of learning

Information and Communications Technology is a vital part of our everyday life and our aim at Treasure House is to develop our students’ use of new technology. We encourage the development, planning and communication of ideas, and creation of quality work using technology such as iPads, Laptops, Raspberry Pis (apps and software) and Projectors and Screens.

Students are encouraged to use laptops and iPads on a daily basis and do so during a number of different lessons and during recreation periods.

Since the AQA Functional Skills ICT course was discontinued we have been delivering the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) course, which will give students a Level 2 qualification and an equivalent amount of course credits as a GCSE for ongoing college and sixth form applications.
