Exam Results

Our exam results can be found below and they demonstrate the effort and hard work that the students and staff have put in.   The results tell a story of the difficulties, such as anxiety, that the students have had to learn to cope with.  In many circumstances the results have been really positive, but in others they have provided a stepping stone from which to leap on to further education provision after starting the recovery from trauma.

Attendance figures – 2018/19 academic year

A new full-time Student Support Worker was appointed in February 2018/19 to support the improvement of attendance figures by working with students and their families to remove barriers to attending on time. We hope attendance will improve more rapidly year-on-year by the 2020-21 academic year.

Good attendance and punctuality are important but also significantly difficult in young people with extremely high anxiety levels and anxiety around attending school or being with other students.

Autumn Term – Years 9, 10 & 11 – 72%

Spring Term – Years 9, 10 & 11 – 74% to week 23

Summer Term – Years 9, 10 & 11 –
